Gelsenkirchen, Germany - The German Football Association (DFB) has announced that the Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen will host four matches during the UEFA EURO 2024 tournament.
The stadium, home to Bundesliga club FC Schalke 04, has been chosen to stage three Group Stage matches and one Round of 16 fixture.
The DFB's decision is a testament to Arena AufSchalke's modern facilities and excellent reputation for hosting major football events. The stadium has previously hosted matches in the 2006 FIFA World Cup and the 2010 UEFA Champions League Final.
UEFA EURO 2024 will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The tournament will feature 24 teams competing in eight stadiums across the country.
