Spotify Camp Nou has been FC Barcelona's home since it was officially opened on September 24, 1957. The stadium, often referred to in English as the Nou Camp (ˌkamˈnɔw meaning "New Field"), has witnessed countless iconic moments in football history.
However, the stadium is in need of a major renovation to keep up with the demands of modern football. The club has announced plans to transform the stadium with a new open facade formed by three concourse rings. The renovation will also include the addition of approximately 105,000 seats, making it one of the largest stadiums in the world.
The renovation is expected to be completed by 2025. Once completed, it will provide FC Barcelona with a world-class stadium that will continue to be a symbol of the club's success.
